We are the world's oldest teak leisure furniture manufacturer, using first-grade plantation-grown teak (Tectona Grandis), sourced mainly in Indonesia where the government managed plantations employ sustainable forestry practices. We use the highest quality materials in our contemporary ranges, tested and approved to any appropriate British Standard for safety and strength: marine-grade stainless steel and virgin aluminium.

Heritage
Manufacturing since 1920, we remain a family business in its third generation with directors Peter Tyrie and his sons, Mark and James managing the company. We have always specialized in the manufacture of high quality teak furniture to which more recently we have added products in stainless steel, powder-coated aluminium, Eucalyptus, and hand-woven synthetic fibre. These new ranges have proved very successful and feature strongly in our current collection; however the expert use of top-grade teak remains at the heart of our business and with demand for quality teak furniture on the rise, its use can be seen in several of our new ranges.
