Orders not requiring cushions will ship in approximately 14 days from placement and payment of your order. Cushions that need to be ordered will take 4 weeks. Customers own material may be used.
Consigned to address must be correct; delivery addresses cannot be changed
once your order has shipped.
Barlow Tyrie must be informed before
shipment if the delivery address is inaccessible
by large trucks, difficult to find, or may otherwise be problematic.
Please advise us of any dates consignee will not be available for the
delivery.
Unless UPS’able, all deliveries are curbside, by common carrier.
Customer must be present to unload and inspect items at time of delivery.
Truck drivers will not unpack, assemble or remove empty cartons.
A signature is REQUIRED on all deliveries.
ALL residential deliveries
require a 24 hr. call ahead. If there is no one to receive the delivery
on the prearranged date, the trucking company will charge a “redelivery
fee.”
ALL ITEMS MUST BE THOROUGHLY INSPECTED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.
The appearance of an “accordioned” end or corner to the carton – no
matter how small – means that the carton has been dropped and the contents
may have sustained damage.
Upon inspection, if contents are visibly damaged, refuse those items. The
carrier’s Bill of Lading (your delivery receipt) must be signed “PENDING
INSPECTION” if it is not possible to inspect all items at time of delivery.
Shortages must be noted on the Bill of Lading. No claim for “hidden” damages or shortages can be reported if more than 48 hours have passed
from delivery time.
Whenever possible, we will assist the customer in filing a freight claim
with the carrier, but Barlow Tyrie is not responsible for damages in
transit or storage.
Each product must be assembled per carton as each item is individually
predrilled. Components mixed from different items will not fit properly.
All sales final, no returns accepted. Prices not valid on prior sales.
