We make our teak furniture from first grade plantation grown teakwood (Tectona grandis) obtained from legal sources in Indonesia.
The natural oil content of Teakwood is high, which makes it stable and resistant to rot when exposed to extremes of weather. For several centuries, this special quality has made teakwood the choice for marine construction and the finest timber for outdoor furniture.
Due to the ultra violet spectrum in sunlight, teakwood will gradually weather to a silver grey colour.
Our woven range of outdoor furniture has been designed by one of today’s most enduring designers of contemporary furniture, Vladimir Kagan.
This comprehensive range has been made from a synthetic fibre which is colour fast, exceptionally strong and completely resistant to sun and rain.
Each piece has been hand woven over an aluminium frame and requires the minimum of maintenance.

We use 'Virgin Aluminium' for our aluminium furniture, which means it has not been reclaimed and is stronger and longer lasting. We chemically clean and then powder-coat the aluminium to prevent oxidation and to ensure it gives long service.
We make the slings on our furniture from Textiline®, which is manufactured from PVC coated polyester non-stretch yarn. These materials guarantee our slings are strong, durable, mildew resistant and flame-retardant, requiring the minimum of maintenance. In the production of our slings, we use sonic welding to give a more aesthetically pleasing product than glueing or stitching.
We use "316 Marine Grade" stainless steel, which is harder and with a higher resistance to rust than lower grades, making it more durable in coastal and marine environments.
