Barlow Tyrie is renowned worldwide for outdoor leisure furniture that strikes the highest notes in quality and style.  Our international reputation is based, in part, on our superior designs, which we share with quality interior furniture and makes a piece correct to the eye and body.

Heritage

Trading since 1920, we remain a family business in its third generation with directors Peter Tyrie and his sons, James and Mark managing the company.  We specialize in the manufacture of teak furniture to which we have added products in stainless steel, powder-coated aluminium, Eucalyptus, and hand-woven synthetic fibre.  These new ranges have proved very successful and feature strongly in our current collection; however the expert use of high-grade teak remains at the heart of our business and with demand for quality teak furniture on the rise, its use can be seen in several of our new ranges.

Over many years we have expanded our range of contemporary and traditional designs for outdoor living.  Our designers have combined pleasing design with ergonomic performance to create furniture that opens life outdoors to a world of stylish possibilities.  Through our commitment to produce the finest outdoor leisure furniture, we remain at the forefront of this rapidly changing industry and continue to demonstrate the best in British design and manufacturing expertise.

We thank our existing customers and you; in choosing Barlow Tyrie you can be confident that our customer service matches the excellence of our furniture.  We proudly welcome you into a select group of Barlow Tyrie furniture owners and look forward to being of continuing service to you.

Traditional values: quality, craftsmanship, service and care

As the world's oldest manufacturer of quality teak leisure furniture, our teak wood is first grade plantation grown teak (Tectona Grandis) sourced mainly in Indonesia, where responsible forestry practices are employed.

We have diversified in recent years developing collections in a variety of quality materials, which we combine with traditional construction methods to give a timeless appearance.  It is reassuring to know that our designers and craftsmen are creating 'true-classics', with style and comfort that match our quality ethos.

Our furniture benefits from our manufacturing knowledge and experience to give products that are constructed to the highest standard.  We only use the finest materials available, which are tested and approved to the appropriate British Standard for safety and strength and made to last.  Our range of furniture includes many pieces that have won international design awards and are frequently copied classics.

We are proud of our customer service that offers after sales help and promotes an ongoing relationship with our customers. Throughout the life of a product you can be confident that our aftercare will support any query you might have.
